1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Kirsty Harris Physiotherapy Limited, including in-person physiotherapy consultations, pre-appointment calls, and use of this website. By booking an appointment or engaging with our services, you agree to these terms.
2. Scope of Services
We provide physiotherapy assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and patient education for musculoskeletal conditions.
Services currently include:
-Face-to-face physiotherapy consultations
-Pre-appointment telephone or video calls (where offered)
-We do not provide emergency medical care.
3. Professional Standards
All physiotherapy services are delivered by Kirsty Harris, a HCPC-registered and Chartered Physiotherapist, in accordance with:
-HCPC Standards of Practice
-Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) guidance
-Current evidence-based clinical practice
4. Appointments, Booking & Pre-Appointment Calls
Appointments can be booked online or by direct contact.
From time to time, we may offer short pre-appointment telephone or video calls (typically up to 15 minutes).
These calls are intended to:
-Discuss symptoms at a high level
-Determine whether physiotherapy is appropriate
-Decide whether an in-person appointment is required
Pre-appointment calls:
-Do not constitute a full physiotherapy assessment
-Do not replace an in-person consultation
-Do not include diagnosis or treatment
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information during all interactions.
5. Attendance & Late Arrival
If you arrive late for an appointment, your session may be shortened to avoid impacting other patients. Appointment fees remain unchanged.
6. Cancellations & Missed Appointments
We ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ noticeif you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Late cancellations or non-attendance mayresult in a charge, particularly where short notice prevents the appointment being reallocated. Any such charges will be applied at our discretion, taking individual circumstances into account.
7. Fees, Payments & Insurance
Current prices are published clearly on our website.
Self-funded appointments are payable before or at the time of your appointment.
If you are using private health insurance, sessions are invoiced directly to your insurer where we are a recognised provider. You are responsible for:
-Confirming your policy eligibility and authorisation before treatment
-Paying any applicable excess, shortfall, or charges not covered by your insurer
-If treatment is not authorised, or if your insurer does not cover the full cost of treatment, you will be responsible for any outstanding balance.
8. Telephone & Video Communication
Any telephone or video communication provided is offered as general guidance onlyand is limited by the information available at the time.
You acknowledge that:
-Physical examination is not possible during calls
-Advice provided may be limited
-An in-person assessment may still be required
9. Clinical Advice & Patient Responsibility
Clinical advice is based on professional judgement and the information you provide. You are responsible for:
-Disclosing relevant medical history
-Following advice appropriately
-Informing us of any changes in symptoms
You should seek urgent medical attention if symptoms worsen or new red-flag symptoms develop.
10. Results & Expectations
Physiotherapy outcomes vary between individuals. No guarantees of outcome can be made. Treatment aims to support recovery using best-practice, evidence-based care tailored to your needs.
11. Educational Content
Educational materials, exercises, blog posts, and videos are provided for general information only and do not replace personalised physiotherapy assessment or treatment.
12. Privacy & Data Protection
We take confidentiality seriously. Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website.
13. Complaints & Feedback
If you have concerns about your care or experience, we encourage you to contact us directly so we can address them promptly and professionally.
14. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for negligence. Otherwise, liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The most current version will always be available on our website.
16. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
